This week's update of Hikaru ga shinda natsu was great! I love the panels at the end, especially the one with Yoshiki reaching out for 'Hikaru' and the one where 'Hikaru' comes apart. And Yoshiki reaching for the eldritch and not the human, because that's what 'Hikaru' is, that's what his beloved friend is, and he can accept and acknowledge that!
That said, I'm sure things are going to go wrong, especially with the little girl and her mom on their way to witness and/or get involved. I also think 'Hikaru' is going to go for Yoshiki's soul again, since he's been doing that when he gets unstable, and he's never been as unstable as now. Not sure how it's gonna turn out though. I'm not sure what he wants to do to Yoshiki's soul either. Eat it, one would assume, but I think 'Hikaru''s been weird about it if that's the case. We've seen him eat ghosts before after all, and he went about it rather differently I think. It's been a while since I read those parts though. I'd like to watch the anime for a refresher (and because it looks good!), but my access to netflix is a little unreliable, so I think I'll wait until more episodes are out.
