Between the idea and the reality

I decided to give Tidal a try for ethical reasons and didn't even think about the sound quality when I downloaded it. Then I ended up staying up late listening to my favorite songs and marveling at how good they sounded. How noticeable the difference is varies by the song, but overall I'm very pleased. I've found every song I've searched for so far too, even the more obscure ones, so I don't think the song selection will be an issue. They don't have podcasts, so I've downloaded a separate app for that, which is probably for the best as it makes it easier to keep track of them. If no dealbreaker shows up soon I think I might invest in the family plan so everyone can get the sound upgrade.
